DISCUSSION:
Office walk-in traffic for September consisted of 71 customers, averaging 18 customers
per week over the 4-week period.
ERMU disconnects for September – as of October 6th – consisted of:
o Cycle 3 – 24disconnects
o Cycle 4 – 14disconnects
o Cycle 1 – 20 disconnects
o Cycle 2 – 8 disconnects
The customer Service Manager attended the National Information Solutions
Cooperative (NISC) Member Information Conference. The conference provided the
opportunity to learn more about the NISC software and work with other NISC users on
best practices.
Our billing specialist sent out an email and/or letter to all irrigation accounts reminding
them to remove their irrigation meter and submit their final irrigation reads for the
season. This is part of a new process that was created earlier this year to better
streamline communication with irrigation contractors.
Our credit and collections specialist compiled the final cycle of assessment letters and
they have been sent out. The due date for assessment payments is November 1.
The Cold Weather Rule went into effect on October 1, 2022, and will expire on April 30,
2023.
To comply with the City of Otsego Ordinance 2022-08 – Electric Franchise Ordinance all
Otsego ERMU residential and commercial customer accounts have been updated to
reflect the additional franchise fee.
