Resolution 22-55
A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Acknowledging
Contributions
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received donations in the amount of $11,000 from
businesses supporting the annual Elk River Farmers Market with the intent it be used by
Parks and Recreation Department for the Farmers Market. .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four -fifths
vote, to acknowledge the support and commend the patrons listed in Exhibit A for their
donations.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember
Beyer and duly seconded by Councilmember Wa er, and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof. Max -or Dietz, Councilmembers Christianson,
WesWard, Beyer, and Wagner and the following against: none, whereupon said resolution
was declared duly passed and adopted.
The following members were present: Mayor Dietz, Councilmembexs Christianson,
WesWard, Beyer, and Wagner and the following absent: none.
Passed and adopted this 3`d day of October 2022.
