Staff Update

DISCUSSION:
• Staff has been attending meetings with Sherburne County to plan for the County Road
44 project.
• Working on 2023 Budget items.
• We are still having issues with the fuse pads we received which were incorrectly
assembled. The problem is that there are some loose parts, and the nuts and bolts are
deteriorating. Irby Utilities is helping to facilitate a resolution to this issue. The vendor
who sold the pads is currently fixing eight of the twelve we received.
• We received our Ford F550, and it is currently at Towmaster Trailers in Litchfield getting
the dump box installed.
• We have been having some issues with the power take -offs on bucket truck 5 and 11.
We are working with Altec and Freightliner to resolve those.
• Staff has started installing underground primary/transformers for the apartments being
built at Highways 10 and 169.
• Working on getting an additional feeder from Station 14 Bank 4 to Otsego for future
support. This project will extend into spring of 2023.
• Still attending weekly Highway 169 Redefine project meetings. Everything is going well
at this point.
• Working with Waste Management and Parson's Electric on power needs for their
service upgrade.
