ELK RIVER MUNICIPAL UTILITIES
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF ELK RIVER MUNICIPAL
UTILITIES ACKNOWLEDGING WASTE MANAGEMENT & DON YURECKO'S TWENTY
YEARS OF SERVICE
WHEREAS, Elk River Municipal Utilities is grateful to all partners, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the successful operation of the Elk River Landfill
Gas to Electric Facility; and
WHEREAS, Elk River Municipal Utilities would like to recognize Waste Management and
specifically Don Yurecko the gas plant manager for their dedication to operating the
facility for 20 years; and
WHEREAS, Don Yurecko brought respect, integrity, determination, and creativity to the
operation through leading by example; and
WHEREAS, Don Yurecko's ability to understand and respond to the many challenges of
operating the facility contributed significantly to the success of the partnership, the
community, and the environment as a whole.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Elk River Municipal Utilities Commission
does herby acknowledge Waste Management and Don Yurecko for their outstanding
service to the Landfill Gas to Electric Facility for the past 20 years.
This Resolution Passed and Adopted this 81h day of November 2022.
