Discuss the Parks and Recreation Commission 2023 meeting schedule.
Approve, by motion, a Parks and Recreation Commission schedule change to meet the second Wednesday of
each month at 6:30 p.m. in 2023, except for October which will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2023.
Background/Discussion
The Parks and Recreation Commission regularly meets the second Wednesday of each month. Staff has
reviewed the Parks and Recreation Commission meeting schedule for 2023 and found one conflict.
The conflict is Wednesday, October 11, 2023, the NRPA annual conference. Staff is recommending that the
October meeting date become a week later on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.
