Approve, by motion, the promotion of Lori Stich to the position of Finance Manager effective December 20,
2022.
Background/Discussion
With the retirement of Finance Director Lori Ziemer, we are implementing a reorganization of the division.
Assistant Finance Director Lori Stich will now be leading the division under a director/assistant city administrator
level position that will include divisions that had not been assigned to Ms. Ziemer. This directs responsibility in
finance tasks and supervision to Ms. Stich’s position.
It is recommended Ms. Stich be moved to a new position of Finance Manager. Her pay grade would change to 4E
and she would be paid at step C. Her pay step anniversary date would become December 20 of each year. All other
terms of employment would remain the same.
Financial Impact
The costs for this promotion are accounted for in the redesign of the department.
