A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING M.A.S.C.
MIGHTY KIDS GRANT FUNDING FOR
THE DEVELOPMENT OF A SKATEPARK
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Amateur Sports Commission (MASC), via the State
General Fund, provides funds to assist political subdivisions of the
state of Minnesota for the development of youth sports and recreation
programs; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River desires to enhance the development of a
skatepark.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk
River as follows:
That the estimated total cost of developing said program shall
be $7,500 and the City of Elk River is requesting $5,000 from
the State General Fund.
That the Community Recreation Director is authorized and
directed to execute said application and serve as the official
liaison with the Minnesota Amateur Sports Commission.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River this 22nd day of
December, 1997.
