VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER SPECIAL MEETING CITY COUNCIL
FEBRUARY 17, 1920
Special meeting of the Village Council held at the Office of the Elk River Lumber Co on Tuesday

the 17 Feb 1920.
The following members being present J.H. Virgin, President, Bert Carr, Trustee, and Gaye Shannon
acting as Clerk owing to illness of Wm Noval regular clerk
Meeting called to order by the President at 8 o’clock p.m.
On motion made and carried the following were appointed clerk and judges of the village election to

be held on the 9 March next 1920 being 20 days from this date.
C.E. Plank, Clerk, A.L. Cabon, H.A. Hall, and J.H. Virgin, judges. The contract of Phelps Drake Co
for installing the new system of pumping equipment for the Village water works was duly accepted
by the council and the sum of $1160.00 was allowed for this contract over and above the contract of
Sept 8, 1919.
