VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER MEETING CITY COUNCIL

A Special meeting of the Village Council was held at the offices of the Elk River Lumber Co Friday

July 9, 1920.
Members present J.H. Virgin, President, D.W. Longfelllow, Trustee, Bert Carr, Trustee, M.P.
Williams, Clerk
Meeting was called to order by the President at 8:15 P.M.
The purpose of the meeting was to draw up a suitable ordinance for the Village Water system the
clerk presented a few ordinances which was sent to him by University of Minn.
Mr. Birch stayed we should get a copy of the Minneapolis Ordinance and was requested to send the
council a few.
No more business. Council adjourned.
