VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER MEETING CITY COUNCIL
JANUARY 14, 1921
Special meeting of the Village Council held in the office of the Elk River Lumber Co office Jan 14,
1921.
Members present J.H. Virgin, President, Bert Carr, D.W. Longfellow, Trustees, M.P. Williams, Clerk
Minutes of last meeting read and approved by the Village Council.
The purpose of the meeting was to read over and check ordinances which were made up and copied
by the village clerk also to number them.
Motion made by D.W. Longfellow that the clerk write a letter to the representatives from this
district who are in the present legislature stating that this council is in favor of the One Man highway
Commissioner. Bert Carr seconded the motion. Motion accepted and passed by the Council.
No further business. Council adjourned.
