VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER MEETING CITY COUNCIL
SEPTEMBER 13, 1921
Regular meeting of the Village Council held in the office of the Elk River Lumber Co on Sept 13,
1921.
Members present J.H. Virgin, President, Bert Carr, Trustee, M.P. Williams, Clerk
Minutes of the last meeting read and approved.
Visitors present L.G. Nelson and Neil Nickerson.
Mr. Nelson was representing the Elk River Power and Light Co and he brought up the matter on
increasing the rate on Power for motors.
The council asked hi m to present actual figures on the matter and we would let him know as to
what we would do.
Mr. N. Nickson was present and made application to the council for position as Village engineer and
Marshall for $100.00 per month. The Council decided they would not accept his proposition.
No further business meeting adjourned.
