VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER MEETING CITY COUNCIL
DECEMBER 20, 1921
Special meeting of Village Council held in the office of the Elk River Lbr Co Dec 20, 1921.
Members present J.H. Virgin, President, Bert Carr, Trustee, M.P. Williams, Clerk
Meeting called to order at 8:00 p.m.
Minutes of last meeting read and approved.
Motion made by J.H. Virgin and second Bert Carr that L.K. Houlton Treasurer be authorized
directed to transfer from the General Fund to the Music fund $170.79 transfer is to replace money
collected for that fund in year 1918-1919 such money was used to pay order on general purposes.
Also to transfer from General Fund $550.00 to the waterworks operation fund such transfer is to be
made record of by the Treasurer also L.K. Houlton treasurer be authorized to pay warrants down
for Street and Bridge proposles be paid out of the General fund.
Motion accepted and passed by the council.
L.K. Houlton was present as visitor.
Motion made by J.H. Virgin Pres and second Bert Carr the following bills be allowed and warrants
