VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER MEETING CITY COUNCIL
JULY 6, 1923
Special meeting of the Village Council.
A special meeting of the Village Council was held at the Library Room on Friday, July 6, 1923
Present C.E. Brown, Pres, Geo Cornelius, Trustee and W.F. Chadbourne, Clerk.
Meeting called to order by the Pres at 7:30 p.m. The minutes of the last meeting read and approved.
On motion the clerk was instructed to notify the Village Treas. that he deposit $4000.00 of the
frontage tax in the bank taking certificate for one year at 4% interest.
The clerk was also instructed to notify the state highwy commission in regard to sewer pipe removed
by them when the concrete was laid on the Jefferson Highway on Depot Street at Lot 3, Block 4.

The following bills were presented and on motion allowed.
