VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER MEETING CITY COUNCIL
AUGUST 27, 1923
A special meeting of the Village Council was held at the Library Room on Monday, Aug 27, 1928.
Present – C.E. Brown, Pres, B.E. Fournier, and Geo Cornelius, Trustees and W.F. Chadbourne,
Clerk.
Meeting called to order by the Pres at 7:30 p.m. Minutes of the last meeting read and approved.
Ordinance No. 18 Entitled and Ordinance to License to regulate Pool Rooms and bowling alleys
was taken up read and recommended to pass.
On motion the clause in Sec. 3: relative to applicant giving bonds was stricken and by unanimous
vote.
On motion duly made and seconded the Ordinance as amended was declared adopted by
unanimous vote of Council. The roll call being C.E. Brown, aye, B.E. Fournier, aye, Geo Cornelius,
aye, W.F. Chadbourne, aye.
Ordinance ordered published.
On motion the following bills were allowed and clerk ordered to draw warrants for sum
Badger Meter Mfg Co for meters 123.57
Fred Ayers special police at dances 7.50
Maurice Goodin tapping water main 4.00
John Westby mowing park 2.25
No further business meeting adjourned.
