VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER MEETING CITY COUNCIL
JANUARY 14, 1924
A regular meeting of the Village Council was held on Monday Jan 14, 1924 at the Library Room.
Present – C.E. Brown Pres, B.E. Fournier and Geo Cornelius Trustees and W.F. Chadbourne, Clerk
Meet called to order by the Pres at 8 o’clock P.M. The minutes of the last meeting read and
approved.
Mrs. L.A. Dare tendered her resignation as Trustee of the Library Board which was duly accepted.
Moved and carried that the Village Clerk be and hereby is instructed to investigate the cause of the
poor service given the Village by the Elk River Power and Light Co and if deemed necessary to
procure legal advise to assist herein.
The following bills were presented and on motion allowed and clerk ordered to draw warrant for
same.
