VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER MEETING CITY COUNCIL
APRIL 8, 1925
Regular meeting of the Village Council was held at the Library Room on Wednesday evening April
8, 1925
Present – Roland K Wilson, Pres, Geo Cornelius, B.E. Fournier, Trustees, W.F. Chadbourne, Clerk
Meeting called to order by the Pres at 8:30 P.M.
Reading of the minutes dispersed with.
On motion duly made seconded and declared carried Dr. H.J. Melgaard was appointed Dairy and
Milk Inspector his duties to be to inspect all cows where milk and cream are retailed and see that all
persons selling milk and cream have a license to do so.
The bond of M.K. Cliff Justice of the Peace was presented and on motion approved.
On motion William Cliff was reappointed Village Marshall and pumper for the ensuing year at the
same salary as before.
The clerk was instructed to draw orders for all salarys and rents at the end of each month. The
following bills were presented and on motion allowed.
The Bousted Electric Mfg Co – repairs on pump 24.50
Charles Roggatz draying 1.50
E.R. Library Ass’n salary Oct 14.00
Daly Auto Co rent and repairs 15.70

First National Bank premium on Treas bond 25.00

On motion the Village Treas was instructed to draw the interest on all time depostis at the bank
every 6 months and deposit same with the principal for renewal.
