VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER MEETING CITY COUNCIL
JUNE 22, 1925
Board of Equalization met at the Library Room on Monday June 22, 1925
Present – Roland K Wilson, Pres, W.F. Chadbourne, Clerk, F.M. Plank, Assessor
Meeting called to order by the Pres at 9 o’clock A.M.
Mr. Berry representing the Reed and Sherwood Lumber Co appeared before the Board and asked
that their assessment be reduced.
After Mr. Berry had presented a sworn inventory of stock the board compared it with last years
assessment and in their opinion found it too high. After some discussion it was unanimously agreed
to reduce item (3) class (3) valuation 2500.00
No other complaints being made Board adjourned at 5 o’clock P.M.
