VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER MEETING CITY COUNCIL
DECEMBER 7, 1925
The regular monthly meeting of the Village Council was held on Monday Dec 7, 1925
Present – Roland K Wilson, Pres, Geo Cornelius, L.L. Bishop, Trustees, W.F. Chadbourne, Clerk
Meeting called to order by the Pres at 8 o’clock P.M.
The Councils attention having been called to the fact that slot machines had again made their
appearance in Public places. A motion was made and carried unanimously that the Clerk be
instructed to notify the parties responsible and also the Village Marshal that all slot machines be
removed immediately from all public places.
The council was also informed that several families were in need of assistance.
The Pres. instructed to investigate and report at his early convenience in regard to the situation.
The following bills were presented and on motion allowed

W.H. Clements St. work 14.25

E.N. Daly Co rent and repairs 15.00
E.R. Power and Light Co repairs 5.95
B.E. Fournier Trustee arrived at this time.
No further business appearing meeting adjourned.
