VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER MEETING CITY COUNCIL

The regular meeting of the Village Council was held at the Library Room on Monday Jan 3, 1927.

The following bills were presented and on motion allowed.

In the matter of purchasing a new siren Mr. Winthrop representative of the Federal Electric Co
presented a statement as to the cost and benefits derived from having a good siren.
After some discussion in regard to the need of another siren no action was taken at present.
In regard to the matter of Bonds for the security of sinking fund now held by the First National
Bank to the amount of 23,000.00 without special bonds. Some discussion was held as to the method
of securing same but no action was taken at the present meeting.
