A special meeting of the Village Council was held on Saturday, Sept. 29 1928 at the Library Room.
Present – Thos. E. Beck, Pres., Geo Cornelius, L.L. Bishop, E.E. Scott, Trustees, W.F. Chadbourne,

John F Cavanagh representing Cavanagh Bros Building Co of Robbinsdale Minn
Meeting called to order by the President at 8:30 P.M. This meeting was called to consider the bids
for the erection of a Village Hall. The following is the result –
The Bock Building Co of Milaca present a bid for 7294.00
The Cavanagh Bros Co of Robbinsdale presented a bid for 7200.00
Moved that the bid of Cavanagh Bros be accepted they being the lowest bidder. Motion seconded
and declared carried by the Pres. Mr. Cavanagh agreeing to commence the job immediately and push
to completion at an early date.
No further business appearing meeting adjourned.
