ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING
June 4, 1962
The town board met at the Court House in special session to secure bids on graveling the town road
from Wakefield to the Meadow Vale road. There was only one bid submitted and this by ElkRete
Company his bid was $1.66 per yard or $1,992.00 for approximately 1200 cubic yards as specified in
the specifications. The bid was presented in the name of Land O-Lakes Paving Company which is
affiliated with ElkRete. It was moved by Earl Schuelke and seconded by Ernst Specht. Motion
carried.
