ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING
March 16, 1964
The town board met in ? of organization. Mel Peterson was sworn in office for three years. The
Schultz Brothers with Mr. L. G. Menzel met with the board to explain their plan to raise hogs on the
farm of Harold Christian. They plan to use garbage which is steamed first before feeding. There is to
be no rubbish or papers to be hauled to this place only garbage. Mr. Menzel is to get a written
agreement from the Town Board. The motion to go along with the plan as explained was made by
Earl Schulke, seconded by Mel Peterson. Motion carried. The following Revenue Funds were paid.
