ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING
July 29, 1964
A meeting was called with the men interested in a trailer court on the Hugh Leather property farm.
Mr. Wilson outlined some of the things that the town board would request before a permit is
granted. Such as a financial statement, a statement of what their plans are for this development.
The board is to get requirements drawn up by the County Attorney. Mr. Bright stated that the court
would be responsible for fire calls also policing of court. The principles in this enterprise are Mr. and
Mrs. Padden and Mr. Yo Ho. A motion was made by Mel Peterson and seconded by J. R.
Moldenhauer that this permit be granted subject to the agreement which is to be drawn up between
owners and the township. Motion carried.
Mrs. Klingler appeared before the board to ask for relief for herself. She stated that she needed help

for rent and food. The board agreed to pay rent from June 13.
Received from Ramsey 1963 and 1964 road maintenance $30.00 also $5.00 weed spraying.
