October 4, 1965
The meeting of the township of Elk River was called to order by the chairman. All members were
present. The gopher bounties were first paid.

Archie Larson presented Mr. Bishop and Mr. Anderson. They represented Camps of America. They
had two sites in view, one is part of John Vacha the other is near Camp Cozy. This is not for
permanent trailer service. Earl Schulke made a motion seconded by Mel Peterson that a permit be
granted to the above named group. The motion was carried. Mrs. Wellinsky appeared before the
board to state his case in regard to getting help from the township for relief. The board agrees to pay
for car gas & rent for one month.
Next a group met in regard to the matter of a junk car lot on the land of Bud Millett. They are all
against having a junk yard in the vicinity and are in favor of having the present condition cleaned up.

Bickman, Mr. & Mrs. Ted Waite, Mr. & Mrs. Moon, Ernest Palmer, Paul Carton.
