VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
April 4, 1907
Minutes of the proceeding of the Village Council of the Village of Elk River in the County of
Sherburne and State of Minnesota including all accounts audited by said Council.
Common Council met at the store of R.E. Dare April 4, 1907
Present: R.E. Dare Pres. Justus de-Booy, S.M. Crockett, W.P. Rhoda Trustees and W.F.
Ghadboune, Recorder
The following bills were presented and on motion allowed:
W.M. Morgan – sheet work - $14.00
N.D. Trumball – hall work - $3.00
W.B. Eatin – lighting lamps March - $10.00
Jutus de-Booy - $11.30
G.E. Page – M.D. - $5.00
R.E. Dare was instructed to telephone Mr. C.A.P. Turner C.E. in regard to best methods of fixing
ice break on north shore of bridge and asking him to come up and view sa???? At his earliest
convenience.
In regard to Village Marshall, M.K. Sliff Sheriff of Sherburne Co. was called in and asked if he would
look after R.R. crossings and bridge and attend to such matters as pertains to the office of Village
Marshall for the month of April for the consideration of $10.00 for service. He ag???? To do so was
duly engaged.
