VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
July 22, 1907
Minutes of the proceeding of the Village Council of the Village of Elk River in the County of
Sherburne and State of Minnesota including all accounts audited by said Council.
Common Council met at the store of R.E. Dare July 22, 1907
Present: R.E. Dare Pres. Justus de-Booy, S.M. Crockett and Justus de Booy Trustees and W.F.
Ghadboune, Recorder
Meeting called to order by President at 3:00 p.m.
Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
The following bills were presented and on motion allowed:
Frank Hall to apply on sidewalk contract $100.00
O.W. Hall – 7 ½ days on street $ 15.00
Geo Jones – hauling gravel for filling 14 loads
Hauling ? for ? 2 loads $ 8.00
Drawn in one order to Frank Hall No.1570 $123.00
Justus de Booy money fund men on street work
as per bill on file. $ 33.17
On motion F.D. Waterman was appointed Justice of the Peace.
The following resolution was offered by R.E. Dare –
Resolution: That the sum of fifty dollars be appropriated out of the Village treasury to
reimburse A.H. Nickerson for repaving Old H?drut road on feat between F.W. Nickerson
and Trott Brook.
Resolution carried and recorder requested to draw order to A.H. Nickerson for $50.00
