VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
DECEMBER 9, 1907
Minutes of the proceeding of the Village Council of the Village of Elk River in the County of
Sherburne and State of Minnesota including all accounts audited by said Council.
Common council met at the store of R.E. Dare December 9, 1907 at 3:00 p.m.
Present:
R.E. Dare, President, W.P. Rhoda and S.M. Crockett trustee and W.F. Ghadboune, recorder.
Meeting called to order President R.E. Dare at 3:00 p.m.
The following bills were presented and on motion allowed:
C.S. Wheaton – atty fees as per bill - $42.00
S. S. Trask – city Marshall and lamp lighter - $65.00
A.S. Nelson – Dray?? - Drayage as per bill - $3.75
W. P. Rhoda – freight bill on ? ? - $2.43
O. J. Whitenare – gasoline - $31.43
J.E. McB?de – care of Fire Engine - $5.00
John Plante – Blacksmith work - $4.15
The Patterson St. Lighting Co. – for Maulles - $3.60
R.E. Dare – burial for Geo. Fouso. ½ expense - $25.00
