ANNUAL MEETING, BOARD OF AUDIT
JANUARY 7, 1908
Minutes of the proceeding of the Village Council of the Village of Elk River in the County of
Sherburne and State of Minnesota including all accounts audited by said Council.
Common council met at the store of R.E. Dare January 7, 1908 at 3:00 p.m.
Present:
R.E. Dare, President, W.P. Rhoda, Justus deBooy trustees, and W.F. Ghadboune, recorder.
Meeting called to order President at 3:00 p.m.
This being the annual meeting of Council to examine the books of treasurer and recorder they
proceeded to do so. The treasurer presented his ?? which was duly compared with vouchers and
books of recorder and was found to be correct.
Said report showing that there had been received into the treasurer $3,908.72 and has fund out
$3,491.70 leaving a balance on ? of $417.02 with outstanding order accounting to $6.15
The following bills were presented and on motion allowed:
W.P. Rhoda – freight - $1.24
Heebner Mer. Co. – goods - $.75
M.L. Babcock & Sons – goods - $2.37
N.D. T??mbull – labor - $6.40
C??? M. Babrock – rent - $60.00
Davis Bros. – goods - $2.69
S.S. Trusk – Marshall - $65.00 and lighting lamps for December 1907
J.H. Romd??? - $6.00
H.J. Herbner - $3.60
W.F. Chad??? – salary - $35.00 - 1907
