VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING

Filed the Official Oaths of R.E. Dare President of Council. Justus de Booy, W.P. Rhoda and S. M.
Crockett, Trustees, H.J. Heetner Treasurer and W.F. Ghadboune, Recorder.
Village Council met at the store of R.E. Dare on Wednesday, January 22, at 3:00 p.m.
Present:
R.E. Dare, President, W.P. Rhoda, Justus deBooy, and S. M. Crockettt, trustees, and W.F.
Ghadboune, recorder.
Meeting called to order President.
Mr. J. de Booy was chosen chief of the Fire Department unanimously. He was authorized to join the
Fire Department association.
The following bills were presented and on motion allowed:
Justus deBooy, Judge for election Jan.14, 1908 - $2.00
C.D. Bashbook - Judge for election Jan.14, 1908 - $2.00
Justus deBooy, membership Fire Dept Assoc. - $5.00
R.E. Dare – de??? - $8.60
