VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
April 6, 1908
The Common Council met at the store of R.E. Dare on Monday, April 6, 1908 at 3 o’clock P.M.
Present:
R.E. Dare, President, Justus deBooy, S. M. Crockettt and W. P. Rhoda, trustees and W.F.
Ghadboune, recorder.
Meeting called to order by the President at 3:30 P.M.
The following bills were presented and on motion allowed.
O.J. Whitueau – Gasoline for lights $34.50
Justus deBorry – Paid on account of Fire Department $1.00
S.M. Crockett – Street cleaning $2.00
S.S. Trask – Marshall and lighting lamps for March $67.00
Bank of Elk River – Payments on road ? $75.00
A.S. Nelson – Dragman $0.50
The Village Recorder was instructed to make a ? and estimate of cast for Engine House.
No further business offering adjourned.
