VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
JANUARY 11, 1909
The Common Council met at the store of R.E. Dare on Monday, January 11, 1909.
Present:
R.E. Dare, President, W.P. Rhode, S.M. Crockett trustees, W.F. Ghadboune, recorder. Meeting
called to order by the President at 8:00 p.m.
Geo. E. Parsons M>D> chairman of Board of Health tendered his resignation as such and asked
thus resignation be accepted immediately, on motion, resignation accepted.
The Council appointed R. Bailey and C.D. Lashbrook as judges of Village Election.
The following bills were presented and on motion allowed.
The Van Tillburg Co. – gasoline - $10.17
The E.R. Lumber Co. – lumber - $3.34
A.N. Dare – printing treasurer report - $60.00
S.M. Crockett – lever on snowplow - $3.00
M.C. Blanchette – meals for poor persons - $1.50
Bert Carr – leaver on fire engine - $8.75
A.D. Frombly – goods for sidewalk - $.75
No further business offering adjourned.
