VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
APRIL 13, 1909
The Common Council met at the office of O.J. Whiteman, on Tuesday, April 13, 1909
Members present: F.L. Salter, President, J. Virgin, B. Carr, Polalard, trustees, O.J. Whiteman,
recorder.
Motion by Pollard seconded by Virgin authorizing Carr and Whi8teman, engine and school lighting
committee to arrange for Wells and fixed so as attach the engine to ?? in case of fire was carried.
The following bills were audited and allowed:
W.Rhoda – freight on ? & ? - $.64
Hamlet dra?? From Nov 12, 1908 to ? 20- 1909 - $6.50
E. Mcbride – as engineer at fire April 8 1909 - $5.00
J. Dribors – work at fire for boys - $4.50
Patterson Street Lighting Co. – 5 dz mantels - $9.00
S.S. Trask – extra work - $6.00
