VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
DECEMBER 21, 1909
The Common Council met at the office O.J. Whitman.
Members present: F.L. Salter, President, B. Carr, J. Virgin, L. Pollard, trustees, O.J. Whitman,
recorder. Meeting called to order by the President at 5:20 p.m.
Minutes of last meeting read and approved.
A motion made by Virgin, seconded by Pollard, to accept Ordinance No.56 an amendment to
Section VI of Ordinance No.47 was carried unanimously.
On motion the following bills were audited and allowed:
S.M. Crockett – ½ cord wood and sawing $2.45
The Elk River Lumber Co. – tile - $5.76
Chas M. Babcock – rental of engine house for year 1909 - $60.00
W.L. Babcock Sons Co. – nails and ? - $.60
O.J. Whitman – recorders salary ? & postage - $25.00
TOTAL - $93.81
Motion was made by Virgin seconded by Pollard to allow O.J. Whitman recorder $25.00 for services
as recorder.
No further business adjourned carried.
