VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER SPECIAL MEETING CITY COUNCIL
SEPTEMBER 12, 1911
A regular meeting of the Village Council was held on September 12, 1911 in the office of Geo. E.
Page.
Present: Geo. E. Page, President, B.F. Plummer, Geo. Worden, Trustees, Frank N. White, City
Attorney, W.F. Chadbourne, clerk.
The meeting was called to order by President at 8:00 p.m. The minutes of the last meeting read and
approved.
On motion of E.P. Babcock seconded by Worden it was resolved to raise the sum of seventeen
hundred fifty, $1,750 for general revenue for coming year 1912.
Petition received signed by property owners on east lin?? of Princeton St asking for order to build
th
sidewalk from State St to 10 St Bur???? Addition.
Said petition having been signed by more than half of property owners but not all on motion of
Babcock seconded by Chadbourne said petition was accepted providing the owners would sign an
agreement to pay 2/3 of actual cost of building said sidewalk.
The following bills were presented and on motion duly made seconded and carried were allowed and
Clerk directed to draw orders on the treasury for their respective accounts.
