VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER SPECIAL MEETING CITY COUNCIL
SEPTEMBER 16, 1911
A regular meeting of the Village Council was held on September 16, 1911 in the office of Geo. E.
Page.
Present: Geo. E. Page, President, B.F. Plummer, E.P. Babcock Trustees, W.F. Chadbourne, clerk.
Visitors present S.M. Crockett, Wm. Iliff, E.R. Halters, F.W. Nickerson, and John Virgin.
The meeting was called to order by President at 8:00 p.m. The minutes of the last meeting read and
approved.
The following bills were presented and on motion duly made seconded and carried were allowed and
Clerk directed to draw orders on the treasury for their respective accounts.
F.N. Nickerson – team work on streets - $154.00
Frank Kessler – shoveling - $26.00
S.F. Wright – street work - $20.00
John Blocker – team work on streets - $52.00
W.M. Iliff – team work on streets - $42.00
Geo. E. Parsons M.D. – medical attendance Mrs. Ca?? - $10.00
Frank Hall – sidewalk - $27.50
Charles Mauser – sidewalk - $14.62
Walter Smith – sidewalk and grading - $25.87
Ed Dask?? – sidewalk - $11.87
Louis Baldowsky – grading - $16.00
W.F. Chadbourne – sidewalk - $36.00
On motion the clerk was instructed to send notice of cost of sidewalk and fee of 2/3 of cost of ????
to property owners along street adjoining said walk.
After considerable discussion regarding petition for building sidewalk on east side of Princeton St
motion was made by Babcock seconded b Plummer that the Council order said walk to be built

along the east line of Princeton St from State Street to 10 Street as asked for by said petitioners.
No further business, meeting adjourned.
