02-10-1912 SPECIAL VCM VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER SPECIAL MEETING CITY COUNCIL FEBRUARY 10, 1912 A special meeting of the Village Council was held on February 10, 1912 at the office of Geo. E. Page, President. Geo. E. Page, President, B.F. Plummer, Geo. Worden and E.P. Babcock Trustees and W.F. Chadbourne, Clerk. Meeting called to order by President at 8:30 p.m. The minutes of the last meeting read and approved. The following bills were presented and on motion duly made seconded and carried were allowed and clerk ordered to draw warrants for their respective accounts. Lee Slaback – on snowplow - $3.50 R.D. Roath – on snowplow with team - $10.50 Ben Daniels – on snowplow with team - $10.50 W.R. Smith – goods for Mrs. Kane - $15.48 Minnesota Fire Department – dues 1910-1911-1912 - $6.00 R.E. Dare – {illegible} for disinfectant - $7.50 R.E. Dare – expense for funeral of Geo. Pratt - $49.50 C.M. Babcock – rent of {illegible}room 1911 - $60.00 Bert Carr – team on snowplow - $3.00 J.E. Hawlet – gasoline - $16.02 Total allowed - $182.36 After considerable discussion in regard to matter of Village Ordinances No 1 to 18 voted on at the meeting of December 9, 1911 the following motion was made by E.P. Babcock seconded by Chadbourne. Resolved that we rescind action of Council taken at said meeting and refer thematter to a committee of the consisting of Frank T. White Village Attorney, C.S. Wheaton Attorney and W.F. Chadbourne, clerk with instructions to attend to it immediately. Motion carried unanimously. No further business, adjourned. W.F.
