VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER MEETING CITY COUNCIL
MARCH 6, 1912
Annual meeting of the Village Council and Board of Audit was held on March 6, 1912 at the office
of Geo. E. Page, President.
Geo. E. Page, President, B.F. Plummer, Geo. Worden and E.P. Babcock Trustees and W.F.
Chadbourne, Clerk.
Meeting called to order by President at 8:30 p.m.
The minutes of the last meeting read and approved.
The following bills were presented and on motion duly made seconded and carried were allowed and
clerk ordered to draw warrants for their respective accounts.
J.H. Romdeum - $24.90
Davis Bros. - $2.80
W.L. Babcock Sons Co. - $1.68
J.E. Hamlet - $8.80
W.R. Smith - $16.89
Walter S. Booth - $1.63
Total - $55.70
Geo. Worden, L. Pollard were appointed judges of Village election to be held March 12, 1912.
The committee appointed to look after Village Ordinance reported that in their opinion it was not
necessary to make any changes in Ordinances at present but that when occasion required to pass
such ordinance as Is needed, and copy into new book purchased for that purpose.
On motion report accepted and com. Discharged.
The clerk having prepared a financial statement according to law and treasurer having made his
report the Board of Audit finding same correct signed report of which will be published in Star
News March 7, 1912.
No further business, adjourned.
