VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER MEETING CITY COUNCIL
AUGUST 31, 1912
A regular meeting of the Village Council was held at the office of Geo. E. Page, President on
Saturday evening August 31, 1912.
Geo. E. Page, President, E.P. Babcock and B.F. Plummer, George Worden Trustees and W.F.
Chadbourne, Clerk. Visitors; F.W. Nickerson, Andre Davis, Bridge Co. representation.
The minutes of the last meeting read and approved.
The following bills were presented and on motion duly made seconded and carried were allowed and
clerk ordered to draw warrants for their respective accounts.
Fred Nickerson – work on washout - $10.00
Ben Daniels – street work - $8.00
B.F. Plummer – car for strangers - $1.56
Charles Mauser – ½ day of bridge {illegible} - $1.00
Cal Heath – 1 day of bridge {illegible} - $2.00
Oliver Mauser – putting up sign - $1.00
W.R. Smith – goods for Mrs. Kaaue - $13.23
S.T. Judge – street work - $12.00
W.E. Babcock – brick used at washout - $5.00
H.C. Hastings – weighing potatoes August - $72.00
The {illegible} Bridge Co. presented plan for abutment at Elk River bridge after some discussion it
was decided to accept plan and advertise for bids to be opened September 7 at 8:00 p.m.
