03-29-1913 VCM VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER REGUALR MEETING CITY COUNCIL MARCH 29, 1913 A special meeting of the Village Council was held at the office of Geo. E. Page on Saturday afternoon March 29, 1913. Present: Geo. E. Page, President, B.F. Plummer, E. P. Babcock, Trustees, W.F. Chadbourne, Clerk. Geo. H. Blauchet appeared before the council asking for renewal of his license to sell intoxicating liquor at his place of business in the NE corner of Blauchet Hotel situated on Lot 111 Blk 131 Village of Elk River MN. Notice of said application having been published for 2 weeks in the Sherburne County Star News. On motion it was resolved to grant M. Blauchet request when he furnishes good and sufficient bond and pays the sum of two thousand dollars. The clerk was instructed draw up such license (vote unanimous). The following bills were presented allowed and clerk instructed to draw orders for {illegible}. Fred Vasser – work at washout - $5.00 J.E. Hamelet – gasoline - $11.34 Ben Daniels – snowplow - $2.00 R.D. Roath – snowplow - $2.00 L. Pollard – judge of election - $2.00 F.M. Plank – judge of election - $2.00 W.F.
