VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER SPECIAL MEETING CITY COUNCIL
AUGUST 9, 1913
A special meeting of the Village Council was held on Wednesday evening August 9, 1913, at the
office of Charles F. Furman.
Present: Ked Keagan acting President, E.E. Scott and Ed Keagan Trustees, W.F. Chadbourne,
Clerk.
Visitor – B.L. Hall
The following bills were presented and on motion allowed.
J.E. Hamlet – gasoline - $23.10
E.J. Keagan – 6 days team on street @4.50 - $27.00
R.D. - 3 ½ days team on street @4.50 - $15.75
James Clule – 6 ½ days team on street @4.50 - $29.25
M.K. Iliff – 5 days team on street @4.50 - $22.50
E.L. Clark – 6 ½ days shoveling @2.25 - $14.62
Will Mansen – 6 ½ shoveling @2.25 - $14.62
M. Auspes – 6 ½ shoveling @2.25 - $14.62
R.D. Roath 1 ½ shoveling - $3.37
Ed Healey – 7 ½ shoveling - $16.87
William D{illegible} – 7 ½ shoveling – 18.75
B.L. Hall was appointed city weigh master to commence duties Monday August 11 at $3.00 per day
as long as the scales earned that amount subject to the will of Council. Said Hall agreeing to offer
Mr. Hastings the privilege of assisting him.
