Special meeting of the village council held on Thursday the 16 of October 1919 at the courthouse
in the Engineers Office at the hour of 10 o’clock a.m.
Members Present – J.H. Virgin, President, Bert Can, Trustee, and Wm Norval, Clerk

This meeting was called by a special notice published in the Sherburne Co Star News on the 2 and

the 9 of October 1919 for the purpose of considering a petition filed with the village clerk and the
council and signed by a number of tax payers who were property owners on the water frontage and
described in said notice as follows:

Now therefore notice is hereby given that the Village Council will meet on the 16 day of October
1919 at 10 o’clock in the forenoon thereof, at the courthouse in said Village, County, and state for
the purpose of considering said petition and determine upon said proposed tax levy of said water
frontage tax and for the hearing of all objections thereto signed J.H. Virgin, President, Wm Noval

Meeting of said council was held open for the period of one hour from 10 to 11 o’clock a.m. and no
one appearing at said meeting to make any objections to the said petition the council passed the
following Resolution.
Be it resolved by the Village Council that after conforming with the law and said meeting was held
open for one hour and that no person or persons appearing at said meeting the President declared
said meeting closed that the council adjourn.
