Background
In follow up to an Elk River Housing & Redevelopment Authority recommendation in
October 2006, the Elk River City Council appointed a Downtown Redevelopment Plan
Task Force to complete a redevelopment plan for the greater downtown area. Attached are
maps of the area. The composition of the Task Force represents the community through
City boards and commissions that deal directly with development and redevelopment,
businesses and residents.
Attached are the key messages of the project, which includes the purpose and Task Force
Mission Statement.
Information Needed From Assessor’s Office
In order to complete this plan, the City has requested and received information from Brett
Forbes and is also requesting the below information from the Assessor’s office. Also
attached is a timeline for the project.
