Purpose
On October 2, 2006, the City Council approved your appointment to the Downtown
Redevelopment Plan Taskforce. The purpose of the taskforce is to assist in the completion
of a redevelopment plan for the expanded downtown area.
With the exception of the first meeting, which will be held at the Emergency Operations
Center (EOC), located in the Elk River Public Safety Building across from City Hall,
taskforce meetings will be held at City Hall on the first Monday of each month at 6:00pm,
lasting approximately 1.5 – 2 hours in length. Approximately 6-8 meetings of the taskforce
are anticipated in order to complete the redevelopment plan.
To maintain objectivity within this process, Stacie Kvilvang of Ehlers & Associates will
facilitate the taskforce meetings.
