I was also the Elk River Youth Football board member and the past president of the Elk River Quarterbacks Club. I have learned throughout my career being a leader is about serving, iYs about getting people to work together towards a common goal. As a member of this commission I will work to help improve our parks and trails. Who would have thought the progress that has happened the past 15 + years to our community: For Example: Partnering with local associations to Building YAC 100 yard field, to light Oak Knoll Fields, to rebuild Lake Orono Park, and to build the Furniture and Things Community Event Center, etc. No one thought any of this was possible, but by working together the council and community accomplished all of this.
