ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING
NOVEMBER 7, 1966
The Town Board met with all members present. The first order of business was the appointment of
an assessor. A motion was made that Glenn Powell be appointed assessor for a turn of two years by
Earl Schulke seconded by Everett Specht. Motion carried so Glenn Powell was declared elected for
a two year term at the rate 2.50 per hour. Fred Brenteson appeared before the board and presented
bills for labor which were paid.
