OCTOBER 7, 1967
The Town Board held a special meeting at the home of Merrill Kampa. The purpose of the meeting
was to see what can be done to improve the road to the Kampa home from County road. It was
suggested that the road should be graded to 24 foot top. The chairman asked Mike Hoffer if we
could take land to widen road. He said he would be ready to take fence down and allow land to back
slop if the same amount be taken from both sides of the road.
The board agreed to build an approach near the end of field near county road. the Kampas were
asked to build their end of the road to match the town road. Merrill Kampa agreed to do same. The
Kampas are to keep their end in repair and in return the town will grade and snow plow same.
