Policy Review —Organizational Core Purpose
ACTION REQUESTED:

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
In order to facilitate regular review of the Commission Policy Manual, staff will be presenting at
least one policy for review in the commission packet. This will aid in keeping utilities
governance policy fresh in the mind of commissioners while also creating an opportunity for
them to make comments, raise concerns, and recommend updates.
This month commissioners are reviewing G.1b — Organizational Core Purpose. The purpose of
this policy is to establish the expectation that the Commission will adopt and maintain
organizational core purpose documents including its mission, vision, values, fundamentals, and
planning themes.
