• Administration, communications, and conservation staff have been working on the
dashboard initiative to develop a communications plan for the Conservation
Improvement Program (CIP). These departments met earlier this month to review
rebate enrollment and communications performance for 2022 to be able to assess the
effectiveness of new strategies (billboards, boosted social media posts, and newspaper
ads). Campaigns will be aimed at promoting Clean Energy Choice and conservation
rebates.
• The Governance & Communications Manager will be presenting at the Association of
Energy Service Professionals' Annual Conference on February 28 in New Orleans. ERMU
was invited to discuss our campaign to increase the distribution of our conservation
newsletter, The Connector, by delivering four free LED bulbs to those who signed up.
This campaign expanded subscriptions from 90 to 900, increased energy savings in our
service territory with the efficient light bulbs by 334,000 kWh, and has shown great
longevity with high email open rates and retention.
