ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING
OCTOBER 7, 1968
The Town Board met in regular session with all members present.
Archie Larson met with the board in regard to dedicating a road in his additions which he built this
year. He needed a letter of dedication to the Town Board. He plans to present it at a later date.
John Olson appeared before the Board. He had a petition to have the Snake Trail black topped. No
action will be taken this fall. Board to look at road this fall.

Ted Moritz and his soon also Louis Linz appeared. A motion was made that the Elk River Town
Board go on record as stating they feel the road in question, being located starting from the Twin
Lakes road about 115 ft north of the culverts that join the 2 twin lakes in lots 1 & 2 sec 19 twp 33 r
25 Burns Township in Anoka County and continuing in a westerly direction in Lot 1 & 2 Sec 24
Twp 33 Range 26 Sherburne County crossing the county line about 50 ft north of high water mark
of the west Twin Lake still considered a public road as it has never been abandoned. Motion was
carried. Louis Hinz stated that hip maintains the above mentioned road for a duration of
at least 20 years. Meeting adjourned.
