DISCUSSION:
• Staff has been attending meetings with Sherburne County to plan for the County Road
44 project.
• We are still having issues with the fuse pads we received which were incorrectly
assembled. The problem is that there are some loose parts, and the nuts and bolts are
deteriorating. Irby Utilities is helping to facilitate a resolution to this issue. The vendor
has 8 of the 12 in for repairs currently. We received the four that were fixed.
• We sent crews to assist Connexus and Moose Lake Utilities after the snowstorm on
December 15-16. ERMU had only one house outage due to the heavy ice and snow on
the line.
• ERMU, Elk River Fire, and the City of Elk River had an Emergency Preparedness tabletop
exercise. This meeting provided a great opportunity to walk through specific scenarios in
detail and highlight items that need to be thought of and acted upon during a major
storm event.
• 1 have finished moving into my office to the new field services building.
• ERMU staff started tree trimming on January 3.
